Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!
KINDNESS WEEK: The great kindness challenge
ASU Prep is excited to announce our participation in The Great Kindness Challenge. Our school will join more than 15,000 other schools across the country to focus on creating a culture of kindness. While we always focus on the power of kindness, The Great Kindness Challenge (GKC) is one special week spanning from January 28 to 31. During this time, we'll work on performing as many acts of kindness as possible at school, home and in the community. We'll provide a checklist of 50 kind acts to help inspire ideas. The students take it from there, proving that bullying is weak and kindness is strong!
Additional components to this special week are our Kindness Spirit Days and fundraising events! This year we will raise money to help in building a health clinic in Liberia by selling Kindness Grams and sponsoring a friendly Money Wars competition! Spirit Days:
To have the greatest impact on our students, we want to encourage you to join in The Great Kindness Challenge as a family. If you'd like, please download Family Kindness Challenge by visiting The Great Kindness Challenge, and participate in this special week at home.
